What We Do
We recruit, train and equip our Leaders to teach boys and girls to know, love and serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
AWANA is divided into three main segments; Handbook Time, Counsel Time and Game Time. We start our club at 6PM and end at 8PM. For T&T, Trek and Journey 24-7 we begin with Opening Ceremony consisting of Pledges, AWANA Song, birthdays, visitors and other information as needed, then Game Time, Handbook Time, Counsel Time, and Award Ceremony.
Cubbies: Sign in time, Opening Ceremony, Book Time, Story Time, Snacks, Play Time and Going Home Time.
Sparks: Sparkle Time, Opening Ceremony, Green Meadow Time, Game Time and Awards.
Events: Sparkies Participate in Eastern North Carolina Sparks A Rama(Games) with other churches (non-competitive) and Camp A Rama (Second Graders who have completed all three handbooks).
T&T, Participate in Bible Quiz and Games for Eastern North Carolina with other churches on a competitive basis.
Trek and Journey 24-7 Participate in Pinnacle (Bible Quiz, Fine Arts and Games) on a competitive basis with other churches.
Theme Nights on a monthly basis.
A-Word from AWANA
On the 1st Sunday Night Worship Service of each month, our clubbers recite verses they have learned from their handbook.
And we do fundraisers to help support our AWANA Ministry.
